Vote on Election Day Procedures in West Vancouver
West Vancouver voting places are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can cast your vote at any of the following locations:
- Gleneagles Community Centre - 6262 Marine Drive
- Hollyburn Elementary School - 1329 Duchess Avenue
- Irwin Park Elementary School - 2455 Haywood Avenue
- Ridgeview Elementary School - 1250 Mathers Avenue
- Rockridge Secondary School - 5350 Headland Drive
- West Vancouver Community Centre - 2121 Marine Drive
- Westcot Elementary School - 760 Westcot Road

You can vote before Election Day at West Vancouver Municipal Hall, 750 17th Street, on:
Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all three days. Advance voting details.
Any eligible voter can apply to vote by mail.
Applications must reach the Election Office by September 28, 2026, to have a ballot package mailed to you. After that date, you may arrange to collect a package from the Election Office.
Your completed ballot and required documents must be received by 8 p.m. on October 17, 2026. Allow enough time for delivery.

To vote as a resident elector, the District lists these requirements:
You do not need to own a home or have children in school to vote. Eligible non-resident property owners may also qualify under separate rules.
You can register when you vote.
To register as a resident elector at the voting place, bring two accepted identification documents that together establish your identity and residency. At least one must contain your signature.
A combined BC Driver’s Licence and Services Card counts as one piece of identification. Non-resident property electors need additional ownership documentation and, where applicable, written consent from other owners.

Eligible voters in Bowen Island and Lions Bay also participate in the SD45 school trustee election, which the District of West Vancouver administers. Your school trustee ballot is separate from your local mayor and council ballot.

Curbside voting is available at all West Vancouver voting places. If you can travel to the location but have difficulty entering the building, an election official can bring a ballot to you. Learn about accessible voting options.
